Getting Started with Rolfing

Rolfing is generally performed over a series of ten sessions that are spaced one week to one month apart. This approach allows the Rolfer to affect the client's structure in a methodical manner, integrating and stabilizing the body for long-term change. The Rolfing process includes loosening superficial structures before working on deeper structures, improving support in the body before affecting higher level changes, releasing physical and emothional blockages in deeper structures, and helping clients find ways to benefit from a wider range of movement in their daily activities.
